Abercrombie & Kent is trimming $500 per person from March 29 and Oct. 13 departures of its 10-night, escorted Classic Japan itinerary.
“Spring and fall are the best times to visit Japan because of the seasonal display of cherry blossoms in the spring and the ideal weather in the fall,” said Risa Sekiguchi, Asia Pacific product manager for Abercrombie & Kent USA.
The package, priced from $8,920 per person, double, focuses on Tokyo and Kyoto and is limited to 16 participants.
Highlights include visits to a Shinto ceremony at Toshogu Shrine; a tour with the curator of I.M. Pei-designed Miho Museum; a stay at Gora Kadan ryokan; a visit with potter Shin Fujihira at his studio, and kaiseki banquet with entertainment by a geisha.
