Bimini Big Game Club in the Bahamas is adding a floating dock at the resort to accommodate guests arriving on Tropic Airways' charter seaplane flights from Fort Lauderdale on Fridays and Sundays.
The dock will be operational by mid-June.
Tropic also will offer seaplane service in June to the 51-room resort from the Miami Seaplane Base on Watson Island between downtown Miami and South Beach.
With the new dock in place, Bimini Big Game Club will be able to offer dockside customs and immigration processing and luggage pickup service.
Guests also avoid travel to/from South Bimini Airport, a trip that takes an hour by taxi and ferry.
