The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino will debut its 5,200-square-foot Zoia Spa (the word means “balance” or “poise” in the Papiamento language widely spoken in Aruba) on Feb. 13.

The facility will offer eight treatment rooms and feature a variety of spa treatments that will incorporate the use of aloe, a plant indigenous to Aruba.

The spa is a new concept for the resort, according to Fred Hoffmann, general manager. The Hyatt has two small treatment rooms tucked into the fitness center. The new Zoia Spa is a stand-alone facility.
