Carnival Victory starts short-cruise schedule from Miami

By Jerry Limone
The Carnival Victory on Monday began its year-round schedule of four- and five-day Caribbean cruises from Miami.

The Victory replaces the Carnival Destiny, which departs on Monday for Venice.

After an 18-day transatlantic cruise, the Destiny will undergo a 49-day renovation, after which the ship will emerge with more cabins, new restaurants, new entertainment options and a new name — Carnival Sunshine.
