Carnival adds cruise options for the Dream

By Jerry Limone
The Carnival Dream’s year-round schedule from Port Canaveral, Fla., has been expanded to include new eight- and five-day options in the Caribbean for 2014-15.

One eight-day cruise is a three-port southern Caribbean itinerary with extended stops in Aruba, Curacao and Grand Turk. The other is an eastern Caribbean itinerary featuring visits to St. Maarten, Tortola, St. Thomas and Grand Turk.

The five-day sailings will be the first short cruises offered on a Dream-class ship, Carnival said.

One five-day program features Key West and the Bahamas ports of Nassau and Freeport, and the other offers daylong visits to Nassau and Grand Turk.

With the new options, the 3,646-passenger Carnival Dream will offer six different five- to eight-day cruises.
