Carnival plc said it will open an office in Hong Kong for Carnival Asia. It will be Carnival's second office in Asia.
The office will initially serve as a sales office for Princess Cruises. Nancy Chung was named regional director for Princess, responsible for commercial operations, sales and marketing.
Chung is currently managing director for Cruise Vacations Ltd., the international sales agent for Princess and Cunard Line.
Carnival Asia already has an office in Singapore.
In a statement, Princess CEO Alan Buckelew said details of the expansion would be announced over the coming months.
