Celebrity Cruises raises fees for specialty restaurants

By Tom Stieghorst
Celebrity Cruises implemented a $5 increase for dining at the specialty restaurant on its ships.

The increase, effective March 1, brings the charge for eating at Murano restaurants to $45.

The nautical-themed restaurants will also raise their fee to $45, including Ocean Liners restaurant, Normandie, RMS Olympic restaurant and SS United States restaurant.

The price for Qsine also goes to $45, while Tuscan Grill goes to $35 and Silk Harvest to $30.

Celebrity said that Lawn Club Grill, Bistro on Five, and The Porch are not increasing in price.

A Celebrity spokeswoman said the increases were made because of increased demand at peak dining times.
