Compagnie du Ponant placed an order with Italy's Fincantieri shipyard for its sixth vessel.
The 132-stateroom yacht, not yet named, will join the fleet by June 2013, said the French-flagged line.
The company currently operates Le Boreal, L'Austral, Le Diamant, Le Levant and Le Ponant.
