Crystal Symphony's next departure from NYC delayed

By Tom Stieghorst
Crystal Cruises said the Crystal Symphony will stay in Boston an extra day to avert the storm, rather than sail to New York as scheduled.

The Symphony's departure from New York on Wednesday has been pushed back to 9 p.m. from 5 p.m., in order to accommodate embarking guests whose flights might be changed or delayed.

The line also said it was prepared to embark guests in Charleston, S.C., on Friday, if passengers cannot make it into New York.

Royal Caribbean International said it canceled a scheduled call by Brilliance of the Seas on Oct. 30 at Bar Harbor, Maine, and instead will remain in port at St. John, New Brunswick, until Tuesday.
