Cunard unveils details about 2013 world cruises

Cunard took the wraps off of its World Voyage program for 2013, providing early details on itineraries planned for the Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2.

Both liners will sail roundtrip from Southampton, England, on Jan. 10, 2013.

The Queen Victoria's 105-day sailing will make maiden calls at nine ports: Falmouth in Jamaica; Bay of Islands in New Zealand; Brisbane, Australia; the Whitsundays; Darwin, Australia; Bali; Manila, Philippines; Colombo, Sri Lanka; and Sokhna, Egypt.

On a 106-day cruise, the Queen Mary 2 will make a maiden call at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and sail a 12-day loop of New Zealand, calling at Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and the Bay of Islands.

Together the ships will visit 55 ports of call in 28 countries. Segment cruises of 12 to 22 days are offered.

Cruise fares for the full voyages start at $19,995 per person, double.
