The characters from DreamWorks films will appear on Mariner of the Seas, starting in 2013 under an extension of the alliance between Royal Caribbean International and DreamWorks Animation SKG.
Mariner will be the sixth Royal Caribbean ship to feature Fiona, Shrek and other characters in the DreamWorks Experience that already plays on the Oasis, Allure, Liberty, Freedom and Voyager ships.
Mariner will be moving to the Far East in May. The character Po from the film Kung Fu Panda is especially popular with Royal Caribbean guests from China, according to Lisa Bauer, Royal Caribbean's executive vice president for global sales and marketing.
