EasyCruise will include daily housekeeping and half-board meal plans in its fares, beginning in summer 2009.

The new pricing concept is another departure from EasyCruise's original no-frills cruising product. EasyCruise has offered a pay-per-meal service, encouraging people to eat ashore. Housekeeping has cost extra.

The line said there has been "exceptional customer demand for pre-purchased optional extras."

When EasyCruise launched, passengers used to be able to get on and off after two days, children were not allowed onboard and there was no real restaurant on its ship. All of those features have since been rolled back and replaced with more traditional cruise products and policies.

EasyCruise will make two maiden calls in the Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes in 2009. In total, the line will offer 10 itineraries in the Greek islands on its two ships.
