Fam for Seattle agents to showcase Port Everglades

By Tom Stieghorst
Fort Lauderdale tourism executives will hold a one-day familiarization briefing for Seattle-area travel agents on Oct. 4 designed to showcase the Florida destination and its port.

The event, to be held at the Seattle World Trade Center, will highlight vacation options in Fort Lauderdale, as well as Alaska Airlines' nonstop Seattle-Fort Lauderdale roundtrip flights and pre- and post cruise options out of Port Everglades.

Sponsors include ASTA, NACTA, Holland America Line and the Fort Lauderdale visitors' bureau.
