Fireworks a standard on Norwegian Breakaway

By Tom Stieghorst
Norwegian Breakaway will offer a fireworks display on every cruise, distinguishing it from most other cruise ships.

The 4,000-passenger Breakaway, set to debut in May, plans a fireworks show on the second-to-last night at sea each week, after the ship departs Bermuda on its return to New York.

The fireworks will be coordinated with a production show set to a playlist of classic 1980s hits including "Come on Feel the Noise" by Quiet Riot; "Whip It," by Devo; "Cherish," by Madonna; "Final Countdown," by Europe; and "Purple Rain," by Prince.

Disney Cruise Line ships also do a fireworks show with every cruise.

"Contrary to some thoughts, travel agents do exist ... We are usually able to get clients better prices, and we know we can see that clients have better experiences. And as our personal motto is: Our Service Travels With You."
