Former Carnival entertainment head moves to Princess

Princess Cruises said it has hired Adrian Fischer as vice president of entertainment, a role he had previously filled at Carnival Cruise Lines.

Fischer, who has a 30-year career in the entertainment industry, will be in charge of production shows, guest entertainers and a variety of passenger programs across the 17 Princess ships.

In addition to Carnival, Fischer has held executive positions at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in San Diego, Blue Man Group in New York City and the Walt Disney Company in Anaheim and Orlando.
