HAL schedules Boston-Bermuda cruises

By Tom Stieghorst
Holland America Line said it will return to Bermuda, scheduling six sailings on the Veendam from Boston next May, June and July.

The 1,350-passenger ship will do a seven-night roundtrip itinerary that includes three nights docked in Hamilton.

“By extending the call to three nights, guests can have extensive time to experience the island" while still enjoying the ship’s amenities and meals, said Rick Meadows, HAL's executive vice president for sales, marketing and guest services.

Meadows said Boston voyages can easily be combined with a seven-night Canada/New England itinerary for guests so inclined.

  • Consumer media discover that travel agents do exist

"Contrary to some thoughts, travel agents do exist ... We are usually able to get clients better prices, and we know we can see that clients have better experiences. And as our personal motto is: Our Service Travels With You."
