Holland America Line said it will put two ships in Asia in the 2013-14 winter season, increasing its capacity in the fastest-growing cruise market worldwide.

The ships Rotterdam and Volendam will sail 14-day cruises from Singapore, HAL said.

Volendam will sail a new roundtrip itinerary from Singapore that stretches up to Myanmar and explores Malaysia, Thailand and India.

Rotterdam will sail a series of 14-day cruises to Indonesia.

Volendam will also offer a Singapore -Hong Kong cruise and China-Japan itineraries either between Hong Kong and Osaka or round-trip from Osaka.

The various 14-day itineraries can also be combined into longer cruises.
