Holland America Line said it will change the name of its Alaska cruise-tour product to Land + Sea Journeys.

The tours had been sold under the Alaska Cruise Tours brand.

HAL said the new name reflects program changes that mean more time in marquee destinations and less overland travel.

For example, the motorcoach trip between Fairbanks and Dawson City, Yukon, which involved up to two days of travel, will be replaced by a one-hour flight.

The 2014 program will include 12 options, all of which involve a Holland America Line cruise and a stay in Denali National Park. Some of the tours also include Yukon.
