Seventy-two passengers were rescued from the sightseeing ship Baranof Wind after it reportedly struck a rock and began taking on water in Glacier Bay, Alaska over the weekend.
Crew from Holland America Line's Volendam received 70 of the passengers evacuated by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Two passengers were transferred to a National Park Service boat, and four crew remained on the ship to maintain emergency pumps, according to a Coast Guard statement.
Flooding has been contained on the 79-foot Baranof Wind, which is managed by Glacier Bay Lodges and Tours of Anchorage, Alaska.
The Coast Guard said it is working with Allen Marine to develop a towing plan to deliver the Baranof Winds to Sitka, Alaska.
Passengers aboard the Volendam will be transported to Bartlett Cove, where they will be transferred to another Allen Marine vessel and returned to Juneau, the Coast Guard said.
