Oceania Cruises said its 684-passenger Insignia will return to service in 2014 after a two-year charter.
The ship will sail in the Mediterranean starting in May 2014. It will reposition to New York for fall foliage cruises in New England and Canada after that.
Insignia had been chartered to Hapag-Lloyd, which expects to take delivery of a new ship, Europa 2, in May.
Oceania will have five ships in the summer of 2014, doing 90 cruises and offering 10 new ports of call, the company said.
All summer voyages feature two-for-one cruise fares, free air fares and additional bonus savings of up to $3,500 per stateroom if booked by Aug. 31, Oceania said.
