Island Routes Caribbean Adventure Tours began paying travel agents 10% commission on shore excursions in Jamaica, Antigua, St. Lucia and the Cayman Islands.
The Jamaica-based company said that its tours offerings “have gone through a comprehensive selection process” that includes an assessment of safety standards and procedures, guest satisfaction ratings, training and insurance coverage.
Island Routes guarantees the return of passengers to their ship in time for departure. More than 100 shore excursions are offered in the four Caribbean destinations.
Also, the company rolled out commissionable day pass programs to Sandals and Beaches resorts in Jamaica, Antigua, St. Lucia and Nassau, Bahamas. Agent commission is 10%.
Rates start at $120 per adult and $75 for children, and include roundtrip transfers between the port and the resort, unlimited premium-brand drinks, lunch and land and water sports.
