By Felicity Long
Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveiled two cruises that add on such often-requested sights as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Pyramids of Giza.

The 17-night Arabian Adventures cruise, which departs Nov. 14, sails from Safaga, Egypt, to Mumbai, India. Highlights include Petra in Jordan; Muscat and Salalah in Oman; Fujairah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and Doha, Qatar.

The 16-night reverse itinerary, called Red Sea Rendezvous, departs April 18, 2013. Guests who book by June 30 will also receive free three-night land tours — Pharaoh’s Treasures in Egypt and the Golden Triangle in India — before and after the voyage.

Rates start at $8,499 per person and include roundtrip air, unlimited shore excursions, unlimited beverages including premium wines and spirits and prepaid gratuities.
