Norwegian Cruise Line will have a second ship in the Caribbean in the summer of 2014, as the new Norwegian Getaway is scheduled to sail seven-night cruises from Miami.

Norwegian announced its 2014 summer schedule, which is in other respects similar to 2013. It will have four ships in Europe, three in Alaska, and ships serving Bermuda from Boston and New York.

The Norwegian Gem will be based in New York to sail to Florida and the Bahamas.

Of the company's remaining two ships, one will do short cruises from Miami and the other, Pride of America, will continue its seven-day sailings in Hawaii.
