NEW YORK -- The Pacific Princess, better known as the Love Boat,
will be delivered to its new owners, Liberty Maritime
International, in mid-November, according to the Italy-based firm
that brokered the deal.
Future plans for the Pacific Princess were not available, the
brokers said. Liberty Maritime acquired the ship on Sept. 12, 2001,
and then chartered the ship back to Princess Cruises.
The Pacific Princess, the inspiration for the hit TV show "The
Love Boat," embarked on its final Princess cruise last week.
