Photo Credit: Tom Stieghorst -- Princess Cruises held a grand opening of sorts for its new Share restaurant, which has been created for the line by Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone. Princess hosted about 100 media and VIPs on the Ruby Princess to see the new space and sample dishes from the menu.Share opened simultaneously on the Ruby Princess and Emerald Princess on Dec. 18. It replaces Sabatini, the Italian venue which continues on many Princess vessels. Share will also be added to the Sun Princess, which sails in Australia.In addition to Share, Stone has created several “Crafted by Curtis” entrees that appear on menus in the main dining room of all of Princess’ ships.At the gala event, Stone said that he wanted diners to feel “warm and fuzzy” at Share, “but out of their comfort zone ever so slightly."
