Regent renews partnership with Canadian agent group

By Tom Stieghorst
Regent Seven Seas Cruises said it has renewed a preferred-partnership arrangement with the Association of Canadian Travel Agents.

ACTA has more than 2,000 members. Regent said it first reached a partnership agreement with ACTA last year. Specific terms of the partnership weren’t disclosed.

“Our partnership with ACTA has been a great success over the past year, as we expanded our presence in this vital and distinct travel market,” said Randall Soy, the line’s executive vice president of sales.

Soy said the deal provides for “industry-leading commissions” on cruise fares that include shore excursions, dining, beverages and gratuities.
