Regent to refurbish Voyager

By Tom Stieghorst
Regent Seven Seas Cruises said it plans a multimillion-dollar refurbishment of its Voyager ship in a 10-day drydock in October.

The 700-passenger Voyager entered service 10 years ago in April.

Among other changes, Regent said it will redecorate all penthouse suites and refurbish the Horizon and Observation lounges. The Constellation theater will get new carpeting, wall covering, tables, sconces and chairs, and new teak will be installed on all balconies.

The changes are scheduled to be completed in time for the 10-night cruise from Rome to Venice that departs Oct. 23.
