Royal Caribbean announces additional Europe deployments

By Donna Tunney
Royal Caribbean International revealed more Europe deployments for summer 2013.

The 2,112-passenger Brilliance of the Seas will operate 12-day Northern Europe and Baltic cruises roundtrip from Harwich, England, while the 1,804-passenger Splendour of the Seas will sail seven-day Adriatic and Eastern Mediterranean cruises roundtrip from Venice.

The Brilliance of the Seas will undergo a renovation next May under the line’s Royal Advantage program. The Splendour of the Seas was upgraded in 2011.

Royal Caribbean earlier announced 2013 European deployments for five other ships: the Independence, Liberty, Adventure, Navigator and Serenade of the Seas.

Additional deployments are expected; Royal Caribbean this summer has 10 ships operating in Europe.
