Seabourn Cruises to bid farewell to Pride with fanfare

By Tom Stieghorst
Seabourn Cruises said it has devised a number of special features to commemorate the Seabourn Pride before it departs the fleet after a transatlantic sailing from Fort Lauderdale next March.

The line has designated 15 cruises from Nov. 11 to March 30 as the Pride's "farewell season." Seabourn has returned many of the Pride's veteran staff to the ship, and will again stage the "Presidential Dinners" that re-create ceremonial state dinners at the White House.

Seabourn has also created roll calls on its Facebook page for each of the farewell voyages.

The ship, which is 25 years old, will join the Windstar Cruises fleet next spring after its final cruise under the Seabourn banner.
