Seabourn added Antarctica to its portfolio for the first time in 2013 on the Seabourn Quest, its newest ship. The line will operate a series of four 21- to 24-day Ultimate Antarctica & Patagonia voyages sailing between Valparaiso, Chile, and Buenos Aires starting in November 2013.
The trips will feature an experienced Antarctic expedition staff and smaller, inflatable boats for landings and cruising, according to weather conditions.
The cruise starts at $14,999 per person, double, including an expedition parka and backpack.
