Seabourn partners with Unesco

By Jerry Limone
Seabourn has allied with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, with the cruise line committing to raise $1 million for Unesco as part of the agreement.

For Seabourn's guests, the partnership means that their cruise “will be enhanced by deeper insight and behind-the-scenes information about current and future World Heritage sites and projects,” Seabourn said.

Speakers with knowledge about World Heritage sites will participate in the line's Seabourn Conversations program. Also, Seabourn will create World Heritage Discovery Tours at “a number of ports worldwide.”

A small donation to Unesco’s World Heritage Fund will be made when passengers purchase excursions that include World Heritage sites.
