Un-Cruise offers agent incentives

By Tom Stieghorst
Un-Cruise Adventures is offering travel agents several incentives to book its S.S. Legacy historical cruises in Alaska this summer.

Agents booking groups of eight or more will receive a ninth berth free. The incentive is offered up to a maximum of three berths for a group of 24 or more.

Agents can use the value of the berth as a savings shared by the group.

Groups booked by Feb. 28 also receive an adventure savings of $300 per person, Un-Cruise said.

The 88-passenger S.S. Legacy is a replica of a coastal steamer that offers seven-day heritage cruises between Ketchikan and Juneau.

The crew is dressed in period costumes and guides use skits, impromptu vignettes and presentations to bring the events and characters of the Klondike Gold Rush era alive for guests.

  • Consumer media discover that travel agents do exist

"Contrary to some thoughts, travel agents do exist ... We are usually able to get clients better prices, and we know we can see that clients have better experiences. And as our personal motto is: Our Service Travels With You."
