World record for vow renewals? That's the goal on Mexico sailing

By Laura Del Rosso

Royal Caribbean and Whodunit Productions have teamed up for a cruise from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera on the Radiance of the Seas March 5 to 12 that is designed for married couples who want to renew their vows during the voyage.

The goal is to set a world record for the most married couples renewing their vows at sea.

The ship's captain will perform a vow renewal ceremony that is planned for hundreds of couples on the sailing.

Rates start at $908 per person, double, and include port charges, taxes, the vow renewal and special themed events and amenities such as a cocktail reception, romance seminars, a bridal bouquet for the bride and bottle of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries in the cabin.
