Blount Small Ship Adventures travel42 Professional Line Review
Although cruising does not come more basic than aboard the two American coastal ships of Blount Small Ship Adventures, loyal passengers return year after year to try new itineraries. The company was started in the mid-1960s by New England Yankee entrepreneur Luther Blount, who died in 2006. BSSA revived the concept of coastal and inland voyages. Blount's three daughters now run the company that includes the cruise line and a shipyard (Blount Boats), based in Warren, Rhode Island. The cruise line's name was changed in 2010 from American Canadian Caribbean Line to honor their father and better describe what they are.
