travel42 Cruise Ship Review: European Waterways Anjodi

Anjodi travel42 Professional Ship Review

The barge was built in 1929 as a Dutch freight barge and was converted to a passenger hotel barge for European Waterways in 1983. There is a rolling annual refurbishment plan, including new electrical, safety and Wi-Fi systems.

The Anjodi is a modest 120-ton boat that cruises at a sedate 10 knots. Its maximum occupancy is eight passengers in four double cabins. It is registered in Bordeaux and has a French captain, who speaks excellent English, and a British and Irish crew.
