Expedition travel42 Professional Ship Review

The Expedition, belonging to G Adventures, was built in Scandinavia as a passenger and vehicle ferry in 1972.

In spring 2009, it was converted at a cost of US$15 million into an expedition ship in a Finnish yard for cruises in extreme northern and southern latitudes. It measures 6,334 tons and has a length of 345 ft and a 16-knot cruising speed.
