Hurtigruten

A daily coastal passenger and cargo service linking three-dozen cities and towns on Norways rugged coast, Hurtigruten (fast route) has been operating for well over a century and only become a tourist attraction in the last few decades. Originally ships offered only the most basic accommodations but Hurtigruten has slowly larger and more modern cabins, panoramic lounges, conference facilities and some summertime entertainment.
