One of the largest cruise ships in the P&O fleet, Ventura
can accommodate 3,200 passengers. Built in 2008 for P&O by the Italian Fincantieri shipyard at Monfalcone near Venice, the Ventura
has been restyled with some new and improved facilities. It's a big ship of 115,000 gross tonnage and a speed of 22 knots. It is registered in Bermuda, and the officers are British, but the general service crew is mainly Indian.
