Mariner of the Seas is the fifth in the highly successful Voyager class. When it entered service in 2004, the quintet formed the largest set of cruise liners until RCI's Freedom class (154,000 tons) began arriving two years later, followed by the far larger Oasis class.

Measuring 138,279 tons, this ship hauls 3,114 passengers (or up to 3,840 with all berths occupied) and has all the bells and whistles.
