DUXBURY, Mass. -- French Country Waterways here is offering "value
season" discounts of $400 per person on cruises aboard five luxury
barges in France from July 23 to Aug. 19 and Oct. 22 to Nov. 4.
With the discount, inclusive rates, per person, double, amount
to $2,995 on the Liberte; $3,095 on the Esprit; $3,395 to $3,695 on
the Horizon II; $3,695 on the Nenuphar, and $3,995 to $4,195 on the
Princess.
The eight- to 18-passenger barges sail on six-night cruises,
featuring Burgundy, the Upper Loire, Champagne, Alsace-Lorraine and
the Moselle Valley.
Cruise rates include accommodations, all meals including one
meal ashore at a two- or three-star Michelin restaurant, wine at
lunch and dinner, an open bar, tours and excursions, bicycles and
escorted transfers between Paris and the barges.
