The weekly flights will begin July 3 and will depart Saturdays from each destination. Frontier is awaiting DOT approval to begin non-stop service between Cancun and St. Louis. The carrier currently flies between its Denver hub and five beach destinations in Mexico: Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. To promote the new service, Frontier is offering $99 one-way fares between Cancun and Kansas City and Cancun and Salt Lake City. Fares require a roundtrip purchase and must be purchased by midnight (EDT) May 27 for travel by Sept. 25. In addition, Frontier is offering double miles to its EarlyReturn members who fly to Cancun from either Kansas City or Salt Lake City by Aug. 28. FUNJET VACATIONS launched seasonal nonstop charter service to Cozumel from Chicago (Midway) with flights operating through July 24 and from Nov. 6 to Dec. 12 for seven-night stays. Fourteen night itineraries will operate now through July 17 and from Nov. 6 to Dec. 4. The flight will depart Midway on Saturdays at 10:55 a.m. with returns from Cozumel at 3:30 p.m. Packages to Cozumel include roundtrip air via ATA.
