Travel seminar tours U.S., Canada November 07, 2000 Share 1 -- MEXICO CITY -- In an effort to educate the travel agent community and promote Mexico as a destination, the Mexico Tourism Board is conducting instructional seminars called Mexpert in 32 cities in the U.S. and Canada. In this roving seminar series, agents gather at a local hotel to hear the latest news from a team of hoteliers, airlines representatives and tour operators.Each seminar costs $25 per person."Most professional travel agents are familiar with Mexico," said Javier Vega Camargo, general director of the tourism board.
