Veterans museum opens in Branson November 17, 2000 Share 1 -- BRANSON, Mo. -- The Veterans Memorial Museum-Branson held its grand opening on Nov. 10. The 18,000-square-foot museum features a 70-foot-long, 15-ton bronze sculpture of 50 soldiers (each representing a state). The sculptor was Fred Hoppe of Malcolm, Neb.Tour group admission is $6.50, including tax; kids 6 to 12 years of age pay $4.50; persons 13 and older, $11. Veterans pay $10.
