Editorials Cash Cow December 10, 1997 Share 1 -- The brew-pub craze that has swept the nation over the past decade or so finally has found its way to the desert city of neon, casinos and lounge liz-ards, but, of course, with a Las Vegas twist. The Holy Cow! Casino, Cafe and Brewery, located at the intersection of Sahara and Las Vegas boulevards, offers patrons myriad ways to spend their money, and, as far as the cafe and brewery go, visitors even get something back for their cash, in the way of tastings. (Sorry, folks, no such guarantees at the slots.) There's a short brewery tour for those interested in how their beer is made. Insider also noticed that merchandise with the establishment's catchy motto --"Moo for a brew" -- was selling at a brisk pace, especially the T-shirts. Mooove over, Sam Adams and Pete's Wicked.
