Editorials Puns Intended May 06, 1998 Share 1 -- Inside the Tree of Life at Disney's new Animal Kingdom theme park in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., is a 430-seat theater where there is an eight-minute show utilizing 3-D and other special effects. "It's Tough to Be a Bug," although educational, also is full of hilarious surprises that we won't reveal here. On entering the theater, one can take in some silliness on the posters promoting upcoming (but fictitious) insect-themed shows. Some examples: "A Cockroach Line," "A Stinkbug Named Desire," "Website Story," "The Grass Menagerie," "Little Shop of Hoppers" and "Beauty and the Bees." Oh, yes: The poster promoting the show that is actually viewed by visitors states "Crickets agree -- it's a hit."
