Editorials Saving the Planet May 06, 1998 Share 1 -- When Insider received a press release that fit onto a business card, we became curious. The release announced the appointment of Tammy Slentz as director of sales for Tony Orlando and Wayne Newton's Talk of the T.O.W.N. Theatre in Branson, Mo., which does big-time motorcoach tour business. At first, we thought the tiny release really might have been from a conservation-minded citizen. But, alas, though the sender had nothing against conservation, her goal was to get attention by reducing the size of the print so it fit onto the card. She sure succeeded. The release was prepared by none other than former National Tour Association president Dottie Maitland. What is Maitland (formerly of Maitland Travel, Kalispell, Mont.) doing in Branson? She is now a marketing consultant for Orlando and Newton.
