The new Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, Croatia, opened its doors in December with a permanent collection of midcentury international and Croatian art as well as a revolving selection of temporary exhibits.

In May, for example, the museum will present some 150 works of Gilbert and George, the British artists whose works recently appeared in an exhibition at the Tate Modern in London.
