Religious-themed cruise itinerary takes in Greece and Turkey

Louis Cruises Orient QueenLouis Cruises unveiled a religious-themed cruise itinerary called Pilgrimage Voyages that focuses on Greece and Turkey.
The weeklong cruises, set to depart Oct. 18 and 25, begin and end in Athens and stop in Thessaloniki, Kavala, Patmos and Syros in Greece and Istanbul, Dikili and Kusadasi in Turkey.

Highlights for faith-based travelers include the House of the Virgin Mary in Kusadasi; the Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul; and two Unesco World Heritage Sites: The Monastery of St. John and the Cave of the Apocalypse, both in Patmos.

Prices start at $1,560 per person, double.
