Compagnie du Ponant Yacht Cruises is offering the 15-day Kangerlussuaq-Quebec voyage to the Great Canadian North, which will set sail Sept. 5 from Greenland. The tour ends in Quebec City and is priced at $8,922 per person, based on double occupancy. With 2013 being the peak year of the 11-year solar cycle, this voyage features a guided viewing of the northern lights from the rocky islands and fjords in the mountains of Nunavut in northern Canada. The trip will also offer whale watching in the Baffin Sea and visits to the village of Sisimiut in Greenland and Akpatok Island and Perce in Canada. In addition, the cost covers a charter flight from Paris to Kangerlussuaq at the start.
