Extraordinary Journeys visits Cape Town during Gay Pride Week

Extraordinary Journeys is hosting an eight-day safari in honor of Cape Town, South Africa's Gay Pride Week from Feb. 27 to March 4. The safari begins in Cape Town, where guests will spend the first four nights at Kensington Place. In addition to Gay Pride events, optional activities include a visit to Robben Island, sea kayaking with African penguins, a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain and a private shopping tour with a chauffeur. The latter half of the trip will be spent at the Jamala Madikwe Royal Safari Lodge, where guests will be able to visit the Madikwe Game Reserve. The reserve is the fourth-largest in the country and holds the second-largest population of elephants in South Africa. Pricing begins at $4,200 per person, double. All meals, game-viewing activities and a scheduled charter flight to Madikwe and private transfers are included.
